On the occasion of Milan’s Fuorisalone, one of the most important international events for the world of design and furniture, Maison du Monde entrusted StarChestnut, an agency specialized in Fuorisalone events and brand activations for the design sector.

We conceived and created a rotating showcase, transformed for the occasion into an experiential installation designed to convey the brand’s soul in an innovative and engaging way. The space was fully furnished with Maison du Monde pieces, turning into an urban stage where visitors could interact with the furniture and enjoy a moment of relaxation, thus fully experiencing the essence of the brand.

The showcase concept was developed following a “less is more” approach, with a minimal and elegant color palette, designed to highlight the product design and balance the playful and dynamic elements of the experience.

As a Fuorisalone event agency, we designed the entire brand experience with great attention to its nighttime visual impact as well: thanks to a custom lighting design system, the showcase became a luminous sculpture visible from afar. The wow effect was achieved by integrating carousel lights and specific solutions to enhance the design of the furnishings, while maintaining aesthetic coherence with Maison du Monde’s identity.

StarChestnut oversaw every aspect of the project: from creative concept to design and production of the set-up, from lighting design to logistics and on-site operational coordination, offering an all-inclusive service tailored to brands aiming to stand out at Fuorisalone.

The result was a highly recognizable space, perfectly integrated into the Fuorisalone event circuit, capable of combining design, interaction, and visual communication.
